Accessible Rhode Island was established in 2001 to survey and recognize local businesses that are accessible to persons with disabilities. Since the inception of the program, over 1,200 venues in Rhode Island have been visited and surveyed to determine accessibility.
This site is a resource guide that lists restaurants, museums, cinemas, cultural sites, and more in Rhode Island that have been surveyed according to the guidelines for identifying accessibility, as outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design.

The grade in this section of the path is steep. The second lot has one van accessible spot and the path is level.

Wooden ramp to toilets not currently flush to entry point on sand. Only a short distance to the beach from parking area, but difficult for wheelchair users. 1 beach wheelchair (manual capacity 300 pounds) is available free of charge on first come, first served basis.
