Locations

Two separate parking lots along Veterans Memorial Parkway are bike path entrances. Approaching from the I-195 Riverside exit, the first lot has no marked accessible parking. The grade in this section of the path is steep. The second lot has one van accessible spot and the path is level.

Seasonal 401-322-0450 Parking lot is all sand and has several parking spots marked accessible. Composting toilets available, 2 accessible. Wooden ramp to toilets not currently flush to entry point on sand. Only a short distance to the beach from parking area, but difficult for wheelchair users. 1 beach wheelchair (manual capacity 300 pounds) is available free of charge on first come, first served basis.

Seasonal 401-789-8585. 2 beach wheelchairs (manual, capacity 300 lbs.) are available free of charge on first come, first served basis. Bathrooms are inaccessible.There are two entrances to the ladies room; one tighter for wheelchairs than the other. Outdoor showers on ground level.
