AdCare Rhode Island is a renowned substance abuse treatment facility providing tailor-made treatment for each client struggling with drug or alcohol addiction and co-occurring disorders. AdCare RI offers individual or group therapy and treatment plans include music therapy, expressive arts, psycho-education groups, family therapy, and veterans and first responders program. They are equipped with a wheel chair-accessible entrance, parking lot, restrooms and seating.

A camp for Rhode Islander's aged 6-17 , who are legally blind. The camp provides summer recreation at no cost to children who are blind, including those with multiple handicaps. Camp Mauchatea is sponsored by the Rhode Island Lions Sight Foundation.
